Adéla Bébarová se ve svých prostorových pracích často vztahuje ke specifickým a charakteristickým danostem konkrétního místa. V nedávné instalaci Luminiscence (2019) pro Galerii města Plzně převedla parametry stavebního prvku interiéru do prostorové struktury, kterou skrze výrazový prostředek umělého světla významově obohatila o poetickou interpretaci architektonické historie budovy. Již roku 2005, v závěrečné práci studia na pražské Akademii výtvarných umění, vytvořila konceptuálně laděnou instalaci nazvanou Okna, kdy geometrii reálných oken promítla na podlahu místnosti, a divákovi tak záměrně proměnila původní prostorovou dispozici místa. Také ve Výkladech AXA vytvořila po průzkumu architektonických prvků funkcionalistického paláce práci zohledňující jeho charakteristické specifikum — plavecky bazén, pracuje s geometrií plaveckých drah jeho dna. V prostoru původně určeném pro zviditelnění nabízeného zboží simuluje prostřednictvím symbolu architektury specificky prostorový vjem. Nejen v této instalaci ji jde především o vtažení diváka do výtvarné situace. Adéla Bébarova tak opakovaně ve svých konceptuálně zaměřených pracích nachází symbolický prvek místa a jeho reálnou podobu překlápí do elementární abstraktní formy. Dlouhodobě ji zajímají současné možnosti syntézy konceptu, land artu a minimalistické formy.

BIO

ADÉLA BÉBAROVÁ (nar. 1978 ve Šternberku) v letech 1997-1999 studovala na Pedagogické fakultě Univerzity Palackého v Olomouci, 1999-2001 na Fakultě výtvarného umění Vysokého učení technického v Brně (sochařský ateliér M. Gabriela) a 2001-2005 Akademii výtvarných umění v Praze (sochařský ateliér J. Zeithammla). Roku 2003 uskutečnila stáž na pražské Vysoké Škole uměleckoprůmyslové (M. Karel), 2004 na Universidad de Castilla La Mancha, Cuenca a roku 2005 obdržela stipendium Hlávkovy nadace. V období 2007-2013 pedagogicky působila na SUŠ a VOŠ textilních řemesel v Praze, od roku 2012 vyučuje na Fakultě architektury ČVÚT v Praze (Ústav průmyslového designu). Je autorkou publikace Porcelán — Základy formování a technologie zpracování porcelánu (2017). Samostatně vystavuje od roku 2002, např.: Divadlo hudby, Olomouc, 2002; Kai de Kai, Praha, 2006; Prolínání, Galerie Jiřího Jílka, Šumperk, 2007; Dimenze prostoru (s L. Stejskalovou), Atrium, Žižkov, Praha, 2009. Opakovaně se účastní výstav seskupení Socha 2: Reinraum, Düsseldorf, 2002; Socha 2, Galerie Felixe Jeneweina, Kutná Hora, 2006; Socha 3, Alšova jihočeská galerie, České Budějovice, 2007; Nic na odiv...?, Kateřinská zahrada, Praha, 2008; Svoz 16, Rabasova galerie, Rakovník, 2011; Místo sochy, kostel sv. Vavřince, Galerie Klatovy / Klenová, 2015; Socha 2, Galerie města Plzně, 2019. Společně s J. Šafaříkem uspořádala od roku 2009 osm ročníků sochařského sympozia site-specific charakteru v Roškopově u Staré Paky.

In her spatial works, Adéla Bébarová often refers to the specific and distinctive features of a particular place. In her recent installation Luminiscence (Luminescence; 2019) in the Gallery City of Pilsen she transformed construction elements of the interior into a spatial structure while enriching it by means of artificial light as a vehicle of expression with a poetic interpretation of the architectural history of the building. In 2005, she created a conceptual installation Okna (Windows) as part of her final work at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague in which she projected the geometry of real windows onto the floor and thus transformed the original spatial arrangement of the room. In Showcase AXA she also created an artwork reflecting one the distinctive components of the functionalist palace which houses the gallery after a careful research of its architectural elements – she depicts the swimming pool and works with the geometry of the swimming lanes at its bottom. In a space that was originally intended to promote offered goods she simulated a specific spatial perception through the symbol of architecture. As well as in the other installations, her ultimate goal is to completely absorb the viewer in the visual situation. In her conceptual works, Adéla Bébarová regularly focuses on a symbolic element of a given place and transforms its real image into an elementary abstract form. She has a long-term interest in the contemporary possibilities of a concept synthesis, land art and minimalist forms.

BIO

ADÉLA BÉBAROVÁ (born in 1978 in Šternberk) studied at the Faculty of Education at Palacký University in Olomouc in 1997–1999, between 1999–2001 she studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Brno University of Technology (Michal Gabriel’s Studio of sculpture) and between 2001–2005 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (Jindřich Zeithamml’s Studio of sculpture). In 2003 she did an internship at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (Marian Karel), in 2004 she was an intern at Universidad de Castilla La Mancha in Cuenca and in 2005 she received the Hlávka Foundation scholarship. Between 2007–2013 she worked as a teacher at Higher Vocational School of Textile Crafts and Secondary Art School of Textile Crafts in Prague. Since 2012 she has been teaching at the Faculty of Architecture at the Czech Technical University in Prague (Institute of Industrial Design). She wrote a book Porcelán – Základy formování a technologie zpracování porcelánu (Porcelain – The Fundamentals of Formation and the Technology of Processing Porcelain; 2017). Since 2002, she has showcased her works at several independent exhibitions, e.g. Divadlo hudby (The Theatre of Music), Olomouc, 2002; Kai de Kai, Prague, 2006; Prolínání (Blending), Jiří Jílek’s Gallery in Šumperk, 2007; Dimenze prostoru (The Dimensions of Space; together with Lenka Stejskalová), Atrium, Prague-Žižkov, 2009. She regularly participates in the exhibitions of the art group Socha 2 (Statue 2) including Socha 2 (Statue 2), Reinraum, Düsseldorf, 2002; Socha 2 (Statue 2), Felix Jenewein’s Gallery in Kutná Hora, 2006; Socha 3 (Statue 3), Aleš South Bohemian Gallery in České Budějovice, 2007; Nic na odiv…? (Nothing to Flaunt…?), Kateřinská Garden, Prague, 2008; Svoz 16 (Collection 16), Rabas Gallery, Rakovník, 2011; Místo sochy (A Place for Statues), St. Lawrence Church, Art Gallery Klatovy / Klenová, 2015; Socha 2 (Statue 2), Gallery City of Pilsen, 2019. Since 2009 she has organised 8 site-specific sculpture symposia in Roškopov near Stará Paka together with Josef Šafařík.
